Alocasia zebrina ‘Siberian Tiger’ Albo Variegated is an exceptionally rare variegated sport discovered within a crop of green ‘Siberian Tiger’ plants. The ‘Siberian Tiger’ form is characterized by a shorter, more compact leaf shape compared to standard Alocasia zebrina, while retaining the cultivar’s bold, banded petioles. In this sport, clean white albo variegation appears as marbling or irregular sectoral patches, a trait that is significantly rarer than aurea expressions. Because it originated as a spontaneous mutation rather than a stabilized cultivar, this plant is an uncommon collector find. It has an upright growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
