Alocasia zebrina ‘Siberian Tiger’ Aurea Variegated is a rare variegated sport discovered within a crop of green ‘Siberian Tiger’ plants. Compared to standard Alocasia zebrina, the ‘Siberian Tiger’ form is characterized by a shorter, more compact leaf shape while retaining the cultivar’s bold, banded petioles. This sport displays unexpected aurea variegation in yellow to golden tones expressed as marbling or irregular patches across the foliage. As a spontaneous mutation rather than a stabilized cultivar, it is an uncommon collector find. This plant has an upright growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
