The fine cream to pale yellow speckles are genetically stable and consistently expressed throughout the plant. In some specimens, larger cream-colored areas may also appear; these sectoral patches behave chimerally and can vary from leaf to leaf. Leaves grow large with classic Monstera fenestrations, and this is considered a large-form deliciosa with a more spreading, scrambling habit rather than a tight climber. It grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
