Hoya obovata Inner Variegated is distinguished by its thick, paddle-shaped semi-succulent leaves marked with creamy white to pale yellow centers framed by rich green borders. Pink flushes frequently appear on emergent leaves when grown in strong light, complemented by occasional silver splash. Its heavy, rounded leaves and semi-erect vining habit make it a sculptural presence on a hoop or trellis. Give it bright indirect light to support the inner variegation, and let the potting medium dry out completely between waterings.
