Kaempferia sp. 'Zebra' Variegated is a patterned peacock ginger grown for its rounded, ground-hugging foliage marked with bold, radiating stripes. The broad leaves display alternating bands of deep olive and silvery green, layered with creamy white to pale yellow sectoral and streaked variegation. Rising from rhizomes, this low-growing perennial forms a dense rosette that stays low to the container. Keep in bright, filtered light and warm temperatures with consistently moist, well-aerated soil.

NOTE

Kaempferia naturally undergo a winter dormancy period where foliage dies back to the underground rhizome before re-emerging in spring.
