DESCRIPTION:
Philodendron is a genus of tropical plants native to the rainforests of Central and South America, where they climb trees or sprawl across the forest floor beneath the canopy. Known for their wide range of leaf shapes, sizes, and textures, Philodendron are prized for their bold foliage and reliable growth. They’re fast-growing and adaptable, making them a favorite among indoor plant collectors for both ease of care and striking visual appeal.
Named by our founder Jocelyn Ho after the iconic island park known as the ‘Jewel of Detroit,’ Philodendron ‘Belle Isle’ is an extremely rare hybrid with deeply lobed, serrated foliage and bold, architectural presence. Its dramatic, ruffled leaves evoke a prehistoric elegance, making it a true statement piece for any serious collector.
