This particular plant has an additional creme brulee pattern on top of the medusa leaf mutation.
Monstera deliciosa ‘Medusa’ is an exceptionally rare cultivated selection within the Monstera deliciosa complex, known for its dramatic, sculptural leaves and variegation. Juvenile foliage may appear relatively typical, with soft green leaves and subtle cream or mint marbling. As the plant matures and climbs, the leaves increase in size and thickness, developing highly irregular fenestrations, uneven lobing, contorted margins, and more pronounced sectoral or streaked variegation.
Leaf shape and variegation vary from leaf to leaf, giving each plant a unique, one-of-a-kind appearance. Mature foliage often shows deep green bases contrasted by bright marbled sections, highlighting the chaotic, architectural form of each leaf. This selection thrives in bright, indirect light to enhance variegation, paired with warm temperatures, elevated humidity, and a chunky, well-aerated aroid substrate kept evenly moist.
