Alocasia ‘Melo’ Aurea Variegated is a rare and highly collected variegated form of Alocasia melo, prized for its thick, rigid leaves and distinctive stone-like texture. The foliage displays a blue-green to gray-green base with creamy aurea variegation expressed as marbling, splashes, or irregular patches caused by reduced chlorophyll. This high-contrast variegation stands out sharply against the species’ naturally matte, heavily veined surface.
The plant maintains a compact, upright growth habit and performs best in bright, indirect light with warm temperatures and evenly moist, well-draining soil to support slow, controlled growth and preserve variegation stability.

Disclaimer: Highly variegated leaves are prone to browning and may be more vulnerable during the shipping process. Alocasia grow new leaves and drop old leaves more frequently than other plants.
