Monstera acacoyaguensis Variegated is a distinctive climbing aroid that stands apart from Monstera deliciosa in both form and texture. The foliage is elongated and paddle-shaped rather than heart-shaped, with creamy white to bold white albo variegation expressed as marbling across a deep green base. As the plant matures, leaves develop clean, round fenestrations that highlight the narrow leaf shape and contrast strongly with the variegation.
This species has a climbing growth habit and benefits from a moss pole or trellis to support upward growth and encourage larger, more developed leaves. It performs best in bright, indirect light (and responds well to full-spectrum grow lights), with a chunky, well-draining aroid mix. Water when the soil is about halfway dry, and maintain moderate to high humidity for best results.
