Phyllotaenium lindenii Variegated (previously known as Xanthosoma lindenii) is a variegated form of this striking aroid, recognized for its elongated, arrow-shaped leaves and bold vein structure. The foliage has a deep green base with prominent white to cream veining, along with additional marbling and sectoral variegation caused by reduced chlorophyll. Leaf texture is thinner and crisper than many aroids, giving the plant a clean, graphic appearance. This species behaves similarly to Alocasia, preferring consistently moist soil and more frequent watering, while still requiring good drainage. It grows best in bright, indirect light and warm, stable conditions.
