Anthurium carlablackiae is a Panamanian species known for its thick, velvety, heart-shaped leaves that mature into an exceptionally dark, near-black green. Emergent foliage opens in deep copper or reddish-bronze tones before hardening off. Distinctive pale silvery-white primary veins run through the blade, creating a sharp contrast against the dark, matte surface. Provide warm temperatures, high humidity, and bright indirect light. Plant in a coarse, well-aerated aroid potting mix and water thoroughly when the top layer of substrate begins to dry.
NOTE
Anthurium emergent leaves are delicate and prone to bruising.
