Native to Mexico, Pinguicula jaumavensis is a miniature butterwort with tightly clustered, incurved leaves that form small, button-like rosettes. The pale green to yellowish foliage is covered in sticky digestive secretions to capture prey, frequently developing soft blush or bronze tones when grown in strong light. It transitions seasonally between active carnivorous leaves and a smaller, dense winter succulent rosette. Grow in bright indirect light to gentle morning sun, watering only with reverse osmosis, distilled, or rainwater to maintain consistent moisture while actively growing.
