Sarracenia x farnhamii is a hybrid North American pitcher plant (Sarracenia leucophylla x Sarracenia rubra) known for its slender, upright tubular pitchers. The upper pitcher bodies and lids feature crisp white fenestrations netted with deep crimson and burgundy veins. It combines the robust height of S. leucophylla with the dense clustering habit and rich color of S. rubra. Place this plant in full sun or very strong grow lights, standing the pot in a shallow tray of pure, low-mineral water such as reverse osmosis, distilled, or rainwater throughout the growing season.
