Alocasia ‘Amazonica’ Pink Variegated US Clone is a cultivated form of Alocasia × amazonica that originated in the United States and is clearly distinguished by its very large, shield-like leaves. Compared to imported selections, which more closely resemble Alocasia ‘Polly’ in size and proportion, this US clone produces broader, more substantial foliage with strong, contrasting venation. Pink variegation appears as irregular sectors and marbling in soft blush to pale pink tones due to reduced chlorophyll. The plant has a compact, upright growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
