Alocasia ‘Regal Shields’ Aurea Variegated is a cultivated variegated selection of Alocasia reginula × odora, valued for its bold, shield-shaped foliage and high-contrast coloration. In early growth, plants produce more compact leaves with deep green to charcoal tones and subtle white marbling that may appear lightly expressed while the plant establishes. As it matures, the foliage increases in size and thickness, developing a rich, dark surface with pronounced sectoral and marbled aurea variegation ranging from creamy yellow to soft golden tones This cultivar grows best in bright, indirect light with warm conditions, high humidity, and evenly moist, well-aerated media.
