Alocasia ‘Regal Shields’ Aurea Variegated is a rare variegated form of Alocasia ‘Regal Shields’, a hybrid known for its large, shield-shaped leaves and bold presence. The foliage has a deep green to near-black base with pronounced venation, overlaid with aurea variegation in yellow to golden tones caused by reduced chlorophyll. Variegation appears as marbling or broad sectoral patches and contrasts strongly against the dark leaf surface, becoming more striking as leaves mature. This cultivar has an upright, robust growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
