Alocasia tandurusa variegated (formerly sold as Alocasia ‘Jacklyn’ or ‘Jaclyn’) is a striking, highly sculptural aroid admired for its deeply lobed, textured foliage and unpredictable variegation. Its elongated, serrated leaves emerge in rich green tones with a rough, almost reptilian surface, often accented by creamy white or pale yellow sectors and splashes that enhance its dramatic, jungle-like appearance. Growth is upright and clumping, with each new leaf emerging more defined and architectural as the plant matures. Provide bright, indirect light to support stable variegation, along with a very airy, fast-draining aroid mix that prevents excess moisture around the roots. It prefers stable warmth, moderate to higher humidity, and careful watering once the top layer begins to dry, as it is sensitive to overwatering and sudden environmental shifts.
