Foliage Focus is the feed we default to for the aroids and foliage plants that make up most of what we grow, monstera, philodendron, alocasia, anthurium, and the rest of the leaf-first crowd that is not putting energy toward flowers. The formula leans on nitrate nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and magnesium alongside trace elements, the combination that keeps chlorophyll production steady and leaf color from fading between feedings rather than pushing a burst of growth that outpaces the plant's roots.
It is pH buffered on its own, which in practice means one bottle does the job instead of us balancing multiple additives before every feeding. We run it through soil, semi-hydro, and full hydroponic setups without changing the formula, diluting a little lighter for hydro and a touch stronger for potting mix, and it also works as a foliar spray when a plant needs a quicker response than root feeding alone provides.
Salt buildup is the one thing we watch for with any regular liquid feed, so we flush with plain water about once a month rather than letting minerals accumulate in the substrate. Foliage Focus is free of sodium, chlorides, and urea, which is part of why it has become the standing feed in our collection rather than something we reach for occasionally.
How to Use:
Hydroponics / Semi-Hydro: Dilute 5–7 ml per liter of water
Soil / Potting Mix: Dilute 3–5 ml per liter of water
Use at every watering for best results. Flush with plain water once a month to prevent mineral salt build-up. Gradually increase nutrient strength as plants mature. One full cap holds 20 ml of concentrate.
