Hoya polyneura ‘Albomarginata’ (outer variegated) is a rare and highly decorative form of fishtail hoya, admired for its distinctive veined foliage and crisp marginal variegation. Its slender, lance-shaped leaves feature the species’ signature dark green venation pattern, but are edged with clean white to creamy albomarginated borders that accentuate the “fishtail” look. Growth is trailing to lightly climbing and moderately delicate, with vines producing successive pairs of finely textured leaves that become more defined as the plant matures. Provide bright, indirect light to preserve variegation and encourage strong leaf formation, along with a very airy, fast-draining epiphytic mix. It prefers stable warmth, moderate to higher humidity, and consistent but light watering, allowing the mix to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root stress.
