Monstera deliciosa ‘Fairy Dust’ is a rare, named selection of Monstera deliciosa recognized for its fine, scattered speckling across the leaf surface. The foliage is deep green with subtle, dust-like flecks of lighter green to yellow caused by localized reductions in chlorophyll, creating a softly mottled appearance rather than bold sectoral variegation. Fenestration develops normally as the plant matures. This is an older, collector-recognized form that has been part of Rare Plant Fairy’s history and was featured in an August 2022 Hour Detroit article, where the plant was photographed being held by the founder. ‘Fairy Dust’ is a large-form deliciosa with a scrambling growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil.
