Aroid Balanced is the middle point in the line and the one most people should start with if they are not sure which mix a plant needs. It uses the same two-to-one bark ratio as our Chunky mix, but with a smaller bark grade, 4 to 9mm chunks, so the profile holds slightly more moisture while still draining well. The base carries the same peat, coarse perlite, biofungicide, mycorrhizae, and pH buffering as the rest of the line. It suits general aroid collections without a strong lean toward drought or damp.
